Is first premier bank credit card any good?

i got an offer thru the mail and thought i%26#039;d check out their reputation.

Is first premier bank credit card any good?

First Premier is considered a Sub-Prime Lender. If you read the disclosures on the offer you will notice several fees. Just to get the card it is probably going to cost you almost $200, and you will only get a credit limit of about $250. You will also notice a montly fee of $6 or so dollars(probably noted as something like a monthly maintence fee of $72 billed monthly) .

Now if your credit is very bad, this is a way to rebuild it. However, you should look into getting a secured card. Here you put down about $300 as a deposit and they give you a credit line to match. They then report to the main credit agencies as a regular credit card. There is usually an annual fee, usually around $39-$79. A good bank to look at is Orchard Bank.

Generally credit cards issued by large banks (i.e. Chase, BoA, Citibank, American Express, etc) tend to have higher credit requirements. So if your credit history/score is not so perfect, smaller bank credit cards can be a good option to build your history. Do your due diligence via Web on First Premier Bank before you apply. Watch out for fees!|||NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I wanted so bad to have a credit card so i could build my credit they give you 250 dollars as your limit after you pay 79 activation fee then they charge you a extra 150 before you use the card try capital 1 or orchard bank for a secured credit card
