Credit help?...again...:)? loan

Go to the official site:

www.annualcreditreport.com|||The other answerers have correctly pointed you to annualcreditreport.com. But even at that site, they keep laying links in front of you that take you off the free path and onto their paid path.

If you%26#039;re having trouble finding the free credit reports using the online site, use the 800 number: 877-322-8228. It%26#039;s more user-friendly, and doesn%26#039;t have the same confusing links that can take you off course.

The other thing to remember is that a credit report is different than a credit score. The report is all the raw data about your credit history. The score is a three-digit number that%26#039;s calculated by a formula, using your credit report as the basis. All the credit bureaus require you to pay for the score; they were forced back in 2005 to give away the reports once a year for free.

I hope that information helps.|||There are many places offering a free credit report, but most are scams, they require credit card because they want to suck you into a membership with them, and for like 29 bucks a month you can do a credit report with them any time you want, with no extra fees, well dah! I would hope there wouldn%26#039;t be anymore fees if I had to pay 29 bucks a month for there membership!

Those places think that all people are stupid! Just stay away from those places asking for a credit card, when they say it%26#039;s free! I think they have forgotten what the word free really stands for! There nothing but scam artist out to make a buck!

Plus why would anyone want to do alot of credit reports, if you do it too many times or too often it ruins your credit report! They say you shouldn%26#039;t do credit reports more then 2 times a year! Because doing it too often will for sure lower your credit score! Every time a company or business does a credit report on you, it lowers your credit score! So credit reports should only be done when you really need to have it done, like for a loan for car or house etc.!

I think it%26#039;s 25 0r 30 points you lose on your credit score, everytime a credit report is done on you! So you can see why not doing too many will keep your credit score higher! Anything under 550 for a credt score is very bad credit! 625 or higher is a good credit score! 700 and up is excellent credit!|||Every place you go to will ask for your credit card information so they can make sure it is you getting your own fee credit report. Most places also ask for this information so that they can charge your for your credit score becuause your report is free but your score it not.
